Ever wonder what happens when thousands of gallons of the Colorado river accidentally get diverted into an ancient sea bed? No? Well let me tell you.
The Salton Sea was once a beautiful vacation destination for the wonderful citizens of LA. Now it’s a funky collection of ghost towns and painted mountain things along the shores of a chemical wasteland? Sounds gross? It is. But also sooooo beautiful.
Join Arthur and Lizzie as we spend the first days of fall break exploring the Salton Sea, Slab City and the wonderfully colorful Salvation Mountain (check out the thumbnail pic). It’s gonna be a funky few days with two groovy guides you won’t wanna miss.
*We will NOT be splish splashing in the toxic, runoff filled water that comprise of the Salton Sea*
