Description:
We are going to be meandering through the Central Coast! We’ll leave Friday afternoon around 2:45, drive out to Santa Barbara, catch the sunset, and enjoy some of Josie’s Monster Cookies. Saturday morning, we will wake up and make our way towards Morro Bay, stopping along the way in Solvang, a small Danish town, for some views of windmills. Next, we’ll head to hike Bishop Peak in Morro Bay, which is a mountainous volcanic plug with wonderful views from the top. From there, we will go view some prepubescent elephant seals as they hunt for squid. Finally, we will camp on the beach in San Simeon and do some exploring Sunday morning before heading back to campus by 3:30 pm.
