Come join guides PK and Kiva on our masochistic voyage through sands and salt of the rugged Mojave desert. Feel the cathartic release of a semester of suffering as we explore sand dunes, spelunk lava tubes, and climb ancient volcanoes. We’ll depart on Friday morning—there’s no class where we’re headed—and return Saturday afternoon so you can continue with your so-called Thanksgiving plans.

What to Bring:

1. Masks, hand sanitizer, and cleared Trojan Check (will be worn in all closed spaces and in transit)

2. Mess Kit (Fork/Spoon, Plate/Bowl, Mug)

3. Daypack (most school backpacks will work)

4. Sleeping Pad

5. Sleeping Bag

6. Pillow (if wanted)

7. Headlamp/Flashlight

8. 2L of water (in water bottles or water bladder)

9. Warm sweatshirt/Jacket 

10. Comfortable Hiking Shoes: Running Shoes/Hiking Boots

11. Socks

12. Underwear

13. Excitement

14. Sunscreen/Sun Protection

15. Comfortable athletic clothes

16. Sun hat
