Join us to get your bowels movin' on Mount Baden Powell! Leave from Trader Joe's at around 7am on Sunday morning, drive 1.5hrs to Angeles National Forest to summit Mount Baden Powell, a 9500 ft peak 😲 It's about 8 miles round trip with ~3000 ft of elevation, so it's a great beginner mountain, not too hard but will def leave you sore. Views at the top are VERY much worth it, we'll see a full view of the San Gabriel mountains and the Mojave desert!! Lunch at the summit, and then hike back down and drive home. Should be back to campus by 6:30-7 at the latest. Great way to catch a study break before finals. And you get to hang out with us so.

What to Bring:

• Masks, hand sanitizer, and cleared Trojan Check (will be worn in transit)

• Mess Kit (Fork/Spoon, Plate/Bowl)

• 3L of water (in water bottles or water bladder)

• Jacket/Puffy/warm layers (it WILL be cold)

• Windbreaker

• Gloves

• Hiking Boots

• Sunscreen

• Sunglasses/Hat

• Comfortable athletic clothes

• Camera if u want flicks

• EXCITEMENT!!
