You think you know the state of California?? Well THINK AGAIN, this snowshoeing, cold-weather adventure will take you to new highs (and lows) as we frolic around the beautiful Sequoia wilderness, accompanied by epic mountain views and some of the biggest goddang trees you ever did see. We’ll be leaving campus Saturday late-morning and heading up to the mountains where we’ll take in some scenery before camping out for the night just below the snow-line. The next morning, we’ll head further uphill and trek a solid 7.2 miles (2,400 elevation gain) through some powder (bring hiking boots or snow boots that can survive some solid water!). Then, we’ll give ol’ General Sherman, the phattest tree in the West, a big hug before heading home in time to rally and round out the President’s Day weekend!
