Feeling overwhelmed? Need a break from rush and hubbub of campus and the city? Want to explore your different sense in the outside? Whatever your answer, come hang out with us at Sandstone Peak, the highest point in the Santa Monica mountains! We’re doing a lovely 6.5 mile loop (get ready for elevation) with views of the ocean and luscious green hills (two months only for green hills!). This hike is an intentional space where we’ll take moments to tune in with our bodies and spirits. There’ll be (optional) blind-hiking, barefoot walking, silent strolling, sit spotting, book club, meditation, and whatever else people want to experience. Have no idea what any of those activities are? We’ll guide y’all so we feel a sense of grounding and wholeness as the semester ramps up. PLEASE email us if you have questions; we love to chat! What to Bring:

*REMINDER: if you do not have something on this list, do not panic. SC Outfitters has gear that can supplement whatever you have!*

• Walking shoes

• A sweater or jacket

• daypack (school backpack)

• a book or activity you’d like to do at the peak

• a bandana if you have (absolutely no stress if you don’t)

• at least 2 liters of water

• mask + completed trojan check

• a journal if you’re into that

• open mind and willingness to be vulnerable

In the event your trip requires added reporting measures of participants (plane tickets, external providers, rental services, etc.) dropping the trip close to the date of the trip will not allow for the spot to be re-filled.
