Caroline Kucera stars as Elly, a young botanist on a research mission gone awry. After witnessing a drug mule's plane crash in the Borrego desert, she is kidnapped and forced on a dangerous journey to a remote drop off point. With limited essentials and alone in the desert with her captor (Tadd), desperation for survival takes hold as Caroline risks her life to escape from his clutches before the trip turns deadly.
Yes, you heard that one right folks. Join Caroline & Tadd as they act out the 2022 box-office hit, Borrego, in ANZA-BORREGO. Only this trip will be 100% vibes and 0% deadly with none of the shit Lucy Hale had to deal with. We'll be meeting Friday afternoon so you can still attend your final Friday class before driving to the desert. We'll spend the night Friday stargazing & doing ~botany?~, before waking up Saturday and completing not one but TWO stellar hikes through slot canyons and palm groves. Once we're tuckered out, we'll zip back to campus where you'll have the rest of the long weekend ahead of you.
Oh- and neither of us have actually seen this movie so apologies if we made a million inaccurate references.
