Start stretching your calves because on this trip we will be bagging yet another peak. Seated in the Angeles National Forest, Josephine Peak sits next to her better-known sister Strawberry Peak at 5,583ft tall!! We will be leaving USC at approximately 8 am from which we will drive to Colby Canyon Trailhead, from there we will ascend up 2116ft over 8 miles round trip to summit Josephine peak. We will take in the views and enjoy a nice Pita Pocket meal before descending back to the cars and heading home.
