Come enjoy Malibu's beautiful mountains and ocean views for a fun day hike. We will be summiting the tallest mountain in the Santa Monica Mountains, Sandstone Peak for a breathtaking sunset! This Malibu hike is 3 miles with 997 ft elevation gain. We will leave from campus in the afternoon, hike to the peak and enjoy a beautiful sunset over the ocean with yummy snacks.

What to Bring:

*REMINDER: if you do not have something on this list, do not panic. SC Outfitters has gear that can supplement whatever you have!*

• Masks, hand sanitizer, and cleared Trojan Check (will be worn in all closed spaces and in transit)

• Daypack (most school backpacks will work)

• 2-3L of water (in water bottles or water bladder)

• Warm sweatshirt/Jacket

• Comfortable athletic clothes / layers

• Comfortable Hiking Shoes: Running Shoes/Hiking Boots

• Headlamp/Flashlight

• Sunscreen/Sun Protection

• Excitement!!
