On this journey, we will be venturing into the Ojai wilderness in hopes of witnessing one of nature’s truest beauties, a running waterfall. We will hike in on Friday afternoon and set up camp from there we will eat a riverside meal and fall asleep to the rumbling creek beside us. The next morning we will be taking a dip in the Punchbowl Waterfall and checking out the natural waterslide!!! Then heading back to the cars. From there we will head up to Carrizo Plains where the acclaimed BASECAMP is about to take place, if we are lucky we will even see some wildflowers. We will convene with our fellow SCO trips and take part in the famed SCO BASECAMP cookoff before falling asleep under the stars. The next morning we will pack up our tent and head back to campus.
