Difficulty: 6/8 Distance (miles): 11 miles Elevation (ft): 4000 ft

Recommended Prior Experience: No hiking experience necessary but there will be lots of steep miles so best to know your limits.

Location of Trip: Mt. Baldy, San Gabriel Mountains

Native Land: Ancestral Lands of the Miwok

Join us on the chillest of all hikes to ever be sent to the peak of Mount Baldy. While the terrain might not be so mellow, the vibes certainly will be. We will leave early Saturday morning, head out on our adventure, and eat a yummy breakfast before starting our trek. After summiting Baldy, we will experience the trueness of the word chill as we relax and have a scrumptious lunch with stunning views of California. Afterwards we will meander on down a different route to get back to the cars and head back to campus. We will total about 11 miles and 4000 feet of elevation gain throughout the day, but despite these fearsome stats, it will be a Chill Send nonetheless.
