Trip Description: Whoa! We’re hitting Pear Lake (among others) in Sequoia National Park! Join us for a sick day of fun in the hot sun and some chilly alpine lakes. We leave FRIDAY 9/23 in the afternoon, camp one night near the trailhead in Sequoia, and will wake up EARLY EARLY EARLY to get the day started—we want to reach the lake at noon for prime tanning UV (for real please remember sunscreen the sun is a deadly laser). We’ll swim and eat and just generally vibe before we hike back to the cars, smash some grub, and head back to Los Angeles.
It’s a fairly difficult hike by all accounts so please make sure you’re comfortable with the distance and elevation—remember to hydrate!!! Hope to see you there :)
