Come hang out with Katie and Nathan for a gorgous gorgous basecamp trip to Towsley Canyon and Carrizo Plains! We will start strong on Saturday with a 5.6 mile hike through Towsley Canyon where we will pass rolling hills, rushing rivers, and get a sneak peak at some wildflowers. We will have a picnic lunch on trail before hitting the road again to make it to Carrizo Plains for BASECAMPPPPP WOO! Here we will enjoy the company of 5 other SCO trips for an intense outdoor cooking competition and marvel at the miles of flowers that should be blooming better than ever with the past months of rain. We will get to see the sun set over the flower fields and stargaze in the open plains. The next morning we will head to Soda lake to get even more views of the bloom and take a relaxing mile-long stroll. Finally we will head back Sunday afternoon with just enough time to edit your flower pictures and finish any homework that you procrastinated. :)
