What is up party people!!! Get excited for the trip of a lifetime to Joshua Tree NP. We are starting off the morning bright and early at 7:30am at the village elevators, before embarking on the 2ish hour drive over. At the trailhead, we will stretch out and have a quick lunch before starting on the 7.5 mile hike to take in the beautiful views of Joshua Tree. After finishing up, we will head to the campsite to set up for the night and eat a delectable meal cooked up by SCO’s second best cook, Jake Futterman. We’ll end the night off with deep heart to heart conversations and some stargazing.
In the morning, we’ll wake up bright and early for a quick breakfast before heading up to the north side of the park for a few short ~0.5 mile hikes to see some unskippable Joshua Tree attractions. After enjoying the natural beauty of the park, we will head out to the town of Joshua Tree to see the Crochet Museum, gift shops, and grab some coffee for the road. Then, we’ll head back to campus and hopefully arrive by 4 pm.
