And so they departed, ten brave souls out from San Pedro to brave a (not-so) perilous journey in search of a fresh ocean breeze on a quiet, secluded part of Catalina away from all the hustle and bustle. Join us on this escapade to Two Harbors in Catalina, where we’ll be camping close enough to the ocean to hear the waves lap against the shore but far enough where the seals won’t be chewing on our shoes. Saturday will see us depart from the village at 7:30 am to drive down to San Pedro, where a ferry will take us to Two Harbors in Catalina. Upon arrival, camp will quickly be pitched before we embark on a lovely day hike along the gorgeous eastern coast of Catalina towards Sullivan’s Beach. Once we return to camp, a hearty dinner will be had around a roaring campfire, and upon the embers fading, we’ll be sleeping under the stars. The next morning will feature the opportunity to explore the island some more before we hop on a return ferry and return to USC no later than 8pm. Feel free to direct any questions at either me or Nat, and we hope you’ll join us on this island adventure!
