The weekend is here, you’ve had a Friday night, homework’s calling. Now what are you gonna do? You’re gonna come with us to Lone Pine Lake in Alabama Hills!!! We’re leaving late Saturday morning, rolling up in the early evening to our campsite. Checkers, backgammon, cards, mafia, charades… we’re having a good old fashion game night!! Apparently Nick is an amazing cook so he’ll be cheffing it up while we play around. Then, a nice early morning. Maybe we’ll have coffee or tea or oatmeal and then we’re walking through Whitney Portal to get to Lone Pine Lake. It’s alpine and lovely. A nice challenging hike, a nice dip in a frigid pond, and a nice hefty lunch, and we’re on our way back to LA by Sunday evening.

PS: I think we’re eating cake to celebrate the autumnal equinox
